Methode 1: De diameter meten met een ring

De makkelijkste manier om een ringmaat te bepalen is aan de hand van een ring die je goed past en prettig zit. Deze manier is ook handig als je bijvoorbeeld iemand wilt verrassen met een ring en je wilt diegene niet naar zijn of haar maat vragen. Je kunt dan eenvoudig een ring 'lenen' om te meten.

Ringmaat meten met een lineaal

Neem de passende ring en leg deze met het midden op de maateenheden van een liniaal. Leg de binnenzijde van de ring op 0 cm en lees aan de andere binnenzijde het aantal millimeters af. Dit is de binnen diameter ringmaat. 

Methode 2: De omtrek meten zonder ring

Als een passende ring niet voorhanden is, dan kun je de diameter van de ring het beste inschatten door gebruik te maken van een lintje of touwtje.

Ringmaat meten met een lint of touwtje
